General James N. Mattis Presentation

General James Mattis, who serves as NATO's Supreme Allied Commander Transformation and Commander, U.S. Joint Forces Command, was a featured speaker at CNP's Policy Day. In an off the record presentation General Mattis identified some of the core issues confronting the United States military and its civilian leadership that will require policy action in the years ahead. In particular he stressed that in coming decades there will be an increasing need for America's armed forces to be able to successfully operate across the entire spectrum of conflict.
